Fratello Cigars’ Arlequin made its debut in June 2019 and now it’s set to make a bigger return this year as a regular cigar in Fratello’s lineup.
Arlequin was first introduced in Fratello’s 2019 Space Fresh Packs in a 6 x 50 size. The purpose of the fresh packs was to give cigar smokers the chance to try several new blends from Fratello and share their thoughts on each with the company. Arlequin garnered positive feedback from cigar smokers, enough to give it a permanent place in Fratello’s lineup.
“We had an overwhelming response to our market research. We had people form all over the world submitting their preferred smoke. I was so impressed with the data, as different countries and demographics would be favor one blend over the other,” revealed Omar de Frias, Fratello’s founder and president.
Arlequin will be presented as a box-pressed cigar in two different sizes: Robuto (5 1/2 x 52) and Robusto (6 1/2 x 54). Each cigar will be priced between $9.50 and $10.50 and the blend will consist of a San Andres Mexican wrapper, Ecuador Habano wrapper, and filler tobaccos from Peru and Nicaragua. The cigar will come in 20-count boxes. Arlequin will begin shipping in September.
