Perdomo Cigars is refreshing its portfolio with two new releases that are slated to make their debut this August–the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box-Pressed Sun Grown and the Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box-Pressed Maduro.

Both of these new cigars from Perdomo will be box-pressed and made entirely of Nicaraguan-grown tobacco. The Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Box-Pressed Sun Grown will be comprised of 6-year old Cuban seed Nicaragua tobacco for the wrapper that’s also been bourbon-barrel aged for an additional 10 months. The wrapper will cover 6-year old Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobaccos that will make up the binder and filler. The new Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Maduro will also be box-pressed and made of all Nicaraguan-grown tobaccos. This will be a medium to full-bodied cigar with a dark, oily 6-ear old Cuban-seed Nicarguan wrapper that’s been aged in bourbon-barrels for 14 months. This cigar will have a 6-year old Cuban-seed Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos.

In a press release, Nick Perdomo Jr., President and CEO of Perdomo Cigars, commented: “Our Perdomo Reserve line has been on the market for over 20 years. We wanted to come out with something really special to honor the history of the brand and offer a cigar that every cigar smoker would truly fall in love with. We blended these cigars with 6-year aged Cuban-seed wrapper, binder, and filler tobaccos that we carefully hand-selected from our most prestigious farms located in the Estelí, Condega, and the famed Jalapa Valley in Nicaragua. We blended these cigars to not only be rich in flavor, but also to be very smooth on the pallet with slight hints of sweetness. Our tasting panel with over 250 years of cigar making and premium tobacco experience was amazed at how great this blend tastes.”

Both of these new Perdomo cigars will come packaged in 25-count boxes and handmade at Tabacalera Perdomo S.A. in Nicaragua. Both the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Sun Grown and the Perdomo 10th Anniversary Maduro will be available in six sizes: Figurado (4 3/4 x 56), Robusto (5 x 54), Epicure (6 x 54), Torpedo (7 x 54), Churchill (7 x 54) and Super Toro (6 x 60). Each cigar will range in price from $7.25 to $9.95, or $181.25 to $243.75 for both new releases.

The company has announced that with the release of these two new offerings it will be discontinuing the Perdomo Champagne Noir and Perdomo Champagne Sun-Grown cigars. Additional information on Perdomo Cigars can be found at perdomocigars.com.
