German Engineered Cigars Raumzeit

German Engineered Cigars will be debuting a brand new cigar later this month. Raumzeit will be the company’s second regular blend and the first cigar blended in collaboration with Claudio Sgroi.

Raumzeit is German for “spacetime.” This is the first German Engineered cigar blended in Nicaragua. This cigar was handrolled at Tabacalera Tambor in Esteli and is described by the company as a blend that “takes you into a new dimension–a fantastic immersion in aromatic complexity and engineered perfection [that] makes space and time become irrelevant.”

Raumzeit’s blend is defined by its light, silky and fragrant wrapper. The cigar’s smoke brings together aromas of nuts, cream, honey, stardust and malt with notes of white pepper, minerals, flying saucer, cloves and nutmeg that combine to create a sweet and overall complex experience. The cigar will have a Nicaraguan Connecticut wrapper, Indonesian Sumatra binder and filler tobaccos from Jalapa (Nicaragua) along with Piloto Cubano from the Dominican Republic.

Raumzeit will be available in three sizes: Half Corona (3 ½ x 44), Robusto (5 x 54), and Gran Toro (6 x 58). MSRP per cigar will range from $6.50 to $12. The cigar will be solid in 20-count bundles. The Robusto and Gran Toro sizes will also be available in 20-count boxes. The cigar should begin to appear in stores in early 2022.
