Fratello Cigars will be debuting a new cigar at this year’s Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show called VICEVERSA. This will be the company’s 9th anniversary blend.
VICEVERSA will be presented as a 7 x 52 vitola. The blend consists of a Habano Ecuador HVA wrapper, Indonesian binder, and filler tobaccos grown in Pennsylvania, Nicaragua (Estelí and Condega). This cigar will be handcrafted at the La Aurora Cigar Factory located in the Dominican Republic. A portion of the proceeds of this cigar will be donated to the PCA.
“This project is easily one of the most challenging projects I have had the pleasure to work on. We blended a cigar and tripled capped both ends. The consumer decides if they want to start their smoking experience Mild and Creamy or Strong and spicy,” commented Omar de Frias.
The Fratello VICEVERSA will have a suggested retail price of $15 per cigar. Only 2,000 12-count boxes will be produced due to the complexity and manpower required to accurately blend this cigar, de Frias revealed.
