The latest release in the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Series is described as a symphonic masterpiece composed by a cigar master that knows a thing or two about orchestrating fine cigars of note.
The new Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata was blended by Rafael Nodal, head of product capability at Tabacalera USA. Nodal reveals he’s long been fascinated by famous sonatas with Beethoven’s “Moonlight” and others sonatas by Mozart, Schubert, Chopin and Rachmaninoff being among his favorite. This love for sonatas served as inspiration for the latest Aging Room cigar. For the Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata, Nodal wanted the blend to celebrate the Nicaraguan people and their land.
“Not with notes or to be played on the piano, but with tobacco leaves to be enjoyed by adult consumers looking for something unique,” he says. “The Aging Room Nicaragua Sonata is composed with leaves grown in the valleys and mountains of Nicaragua and nurtured by the dedicated people of Nicaragua.”
Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata is described as a “symphony of flavors and aromas that evoke the Cuban rhythms still beating in Nodal’s memories, but with unique Nicaragua tones. For this release, Nodal teamed up once more with A.J. Fernandez, a fellow cigar master and friend. This latest collaboration is being hyped as being one of their richest and most unique creations to date that pays homage to the fertile and hospitable country of Nicaragua, a land known for its memorable lakes and volcanos.
Aging Room Quattro Nicaragua Sonata is handcrafted at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez. This is a box-pressed cigar with a blend that is comprised with all Nicaraguan tobaccos. It is expected to begin appearing in stores in mid-March.
Sonata will be available in six different sizes: Expressivo (5 x 50), Maestro (6 x 52), Vibrato (6 x 54), Concerto (7 x 50), Impromptu (6 1/2 x 52), and Grande (6 x 60). This cigar will come in 20-count boxes with the exception of the Impromptu size, which will be available in a 10-count box. Suggested retail price per cigar will range from $13.02 to $14.98.
