West Tampa Tobacco Company has announced its next cigar line, Red. This cigar is described as being a “flavor bomb with enhanced body that is a perfect addition to the West Tampa line-up.” With the addition of the West Tampa Tobacco Co.’s Red line, the new cigar company how has something for every palate, from mild to full bodied, and creamy to spicy.
Rick Rodriguez, the master blender and co-founder of West Tampa Tobacco Co., commented, “West Tampa Red gave me the opportunity to sit down with the factory and really focus on creating a blend that I enjoy. Normally when I blend cigars, I don’t blend for what I like, I blend cigars for what my fans enjoy. Red will be a reflection of what I believe is the next piece to lay in the West Tampa puzzle: a full-bodied cigar that delivers the full flavor consumers have come to enjoy from West Tampa.”
The new West Tampa Tobacco Co. Red features a Mexican San Andres wrapper, as was used in the inaugural Attic Series cigar line. The rest of the blend is completely different from the previous releases as Red has an all-nicaraguan binder and filler that combine to create what the company proclaims is an unforgettable smoke.
The West Tampa Tobacco Co.’s Red cigar will come in 20-count boxes and will be available in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 52), and Gigante (6 x 60). Suggested retail price per cigar will range from $8.99 to $10.99.
