El Rey del Mundo will be getting a new regular cigar offering: El Rey del Mundo Naturals. This new cigar will begin shipping in March and offers cigar smokers an entirely new blend in addition to the Sumatra version that launched last year.
El Rey Del Mundo Naturals is hand rolled at the HATSA factory in Danli, Honduras. It is described as a mellow-to-medium bodied smoke. The blend includes an Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper, a Honduran binder and Honduran and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigar will come in four different sizes: a box-pressed Rectangulars (5 5/8 x 46), Robusto en Vidrio (5 1/2 x 50), Flor de Llaneza (6 1/8 x 54), and a Reserva Salado (6 x 54) toro. Each size will come in 20-count boxes with each cigar ranging in price from $5.19 to $6.79.
In a press release, Olga Koke, brand manager for El Rey del Mundo, commented: “With ‘Naturals,’ we are introducing a great all-purpose cigar. It is easy to smoke, loaded with nuances and extremely versatile when it comes to pairing. Factor in its accessible price and we believe El Rey del Mundo Naturals has all the makings of a runaway success.”
