Southern Draw Cigars’ popular Kudzu Lustrum is getting a special size release–a 6 x 44 box-pressed Lonsdale. This cigar is constructed in Esteli, Nicaragua by A.J. Fernandez Cigar Co. with 15,000 of the new Lonsdale being released in 12-count boxes.
“The company has used more of its flavorful Medio – Tiempo Habano wrapper, applying the smaller leaves that were not large enough to produce the Belicoso Fino 5.5×52, we originally released during IPCPR 2019. We just couldn’t find a better way to utilize the remaining Medio Tiempo leaves,” commented Southern Draw’s Robert Holt.
The blend for the Kudzu Lustrum remains the same: a Medio Tiempo wrapper from Nicaragua, a Nicaraguan-grown Ometepe binder, and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua. The Kudzu Lustrum is a medium-bodied cigar that comes packaged in a box designed the same way as the company’s recent Desert Rose Lonsdale release. Each cigar will be sold for a suggested retail price of $10.89 while each box will retail for $129.99.
