Crafted at the AJ Fernandez factory in Nicaragua, the Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars’ latest release pays homage to the family’s lineage as well as the Bocock brothers’ father, Roberto.
In a joint statement, Bryant and Doug Bocock said that they are both, “Thrilled and honored for the opportunity to create a cigar with a master blender and cigarmaker like AJ Fernandez. We’re beyond excited to present it to our father, as well as to the growing amount of Bocock fans who have come to recognize and appreciate our thoughtful offerings.”
Before the Cuban Revolution, Roberto spent time in Cuba where he smoked many fine cigars. Roberto’s love of cigars never lessened over the years and he’s only become more enamored with cigars and the lifestyle. Now as his sons have started their own premium cigar brand, Bocock Brothers Premium Cigars, they’ve decided to honor their father with a special cigar they’ve named The Signature Edition.
This cigar is an extension of the company’s World Traveler line and is designed to take the brand to the next level in terms of the quality of the premium tobacco. Even though the quality exceeds anything the company has released thus far, they’ve also made an effort to keep the price point at an affordable level for cigar smokers. To ensure this cigar met the Bocock brothers’ strict requirements, they turned to famed cigar maker and tobacco grower AJ Fernandez and his award-winning factory to help make this special edition cigar a reality.
The Signature Edition will come in 10-count boxes and will have a Sumatra Ecuador wrapper, Habano binder, and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. It will be presented in three different sizes: Robusto (5 1/2 x 52), Toro (6 x 54), and Gordo (6 x 60). The Signature Edition will cost between $11.95 and $12.95 per cigar,
The Signature Edition is slated for an April release.
