Patina Cigars is releasing its first limited edition cigar this spring. This special cigar commemorates the brand’s fifth anniversary and will begin to appear in stores in the March/April timeframe.
The Patina Anniversary will be presented as a 6 x 52 cigar. It will have a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, a Mexican San Andres binder and filler tobaccos from both Nicaragua and the U.S. The cigars are being handcrafted at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. (NACSA).
In a press release, Patina’s brand owner Mo Maali commented: “Our strategy from the beginning has been to build Patina’s core line offerings. However, sometimes you have to stop and celebrate certain milestones and I felt five years was a good time to release our first LE. This is our first go with a CT broadleaf wrapped cigar and I couldn’t be more excited to share our creation. Thank you to all of the consumers, retailers, Raul Disla, Gus Cura, Ninoska Olivas, and the entire NACSA team for making it possible.”
The Patina Anniversary will come in 10-count boxes with only 500 boxes being produced. Each cigar will have a suggested retail price of $20.
